Lighthouse

A lighthouse is a tall structure, usually located on the coast or on an island, that emits light from a system of lamps and lenses to serve as a navigational aid for maritime pilots at sea or on inland waterways. It helps guide ships, warn them of dangerous areas, and mark safe entry points to harbors.
